The digital media star arrived in the country late this week
and went straight to the sprawling Kibera slums where he has been documenting
the lives of the destitute and poverty-stricken families.
Dylan, a self-styled viral news disseminator, also took time
to visit popular chef Dennis Ombachi with whom he engaged in a fun cooking
session at the latter's celebrity-prone balcony.
The British star, who boasts an impressive 15 million
followers on TikTok, also shared time with Kenyan singer Futwax Daniel as they
both danced to his hit song "Where I Come From."
"I've covered Kibera before, but I wasn't actually here.
So, today, I wanted to come and see for myself...." Dylan says on a video
posted online.
"I'd like to cover more underrepresented stuff and bring
it to the mainstream. Not just Kibera, but Kenya in general."
Besides Kibera, Dylan has covered several interesting news
content from Kenya including the Migori man who famously clung to a helicopter
during Ohangla musician Prince Indah's wedding.
Obise alias Obado, would later be charged with an offence of imperilling the safety and security of aircraft and persons on board by disorderly conduct. He was consequently slapped with an 18-month prison sentence.
