Comedian Mulamwah has announced the indefinite closure of his record label, Mulamwah Ent.

In a long Instagram post on Wednesday, the comedian said that it was difficult for him to progress with the work at Mulamwah Ent. and, in extension, that of his first and only signee Vall Wambo because of all the trolls and abuse that he had received online.

“I am sorry @vall_wambo, you are still very young and with a promising future, my dream was to see you grow into a big star, not only you but many more too. So unfortunate that the environment created online is not healthy at all, all the trolls and abuse online should not be your portion. I was there before and I don’t want you at the same spot. It's quite difficult to progress with all this friction. I hereby announce the indefinite closure of Mulamwah ent.”

The comedian went on to say that the music created by his first signee had been deleted from all Mulamwah Ent channels and would now belong to the artist only.

“Everything created for you belongs to you and you own 100% of your music and all the accounts created. All the songs have been deleted from our end, you'll be given the videos to post on whatever channel of your choice. All the best. Kindly accord her all the support she needs. To the others too, seek solace elsewhere.” Said Mulamwah

This is not the first time that the comedian has put his career on hold because of online trolls, in 2020, he announced that he was quitting comedy over cyberbullying.
