George Kinoti, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss, added another feather to his cap on Monday when he made his acting debut on Citizen TV's Inspekta Mwala.

Mr Kinoti who played the same character as in real life made an impromptu visit to the fictional Kona Mbaya Police Station in an undercover operation.

He was keen on finding out how police officers treat citizens on the popular show that primarily tackles crime and justice.

During the act, the show's tickler, Abdi, whose real name is Ratib Mohammed, appeared disrespectful, disregarding the DCI chief as he did not know who he was.

Inspector Mwala whose real name is Davis Mwambili would then be forced to apologize to the DCI chief, who then instructed the officers to treat everyone equally and with respect, as required by service delivery.

Thereafter officers at the Kona Mbaya police station would then line up to give the DCI boss a guard of honour who reiterated on the need for service delivery while urging police officers to shun corruption and brutality.

“We always pledge to God to deliver in our duty to protect and serve the common mwananchi,” the DCI boss Kinoti said.

The cast then awarded the DCI boss with a trophy, thanking him profusely for his service.
