Diamond, speaking in an exclusive interview with Tanzanian radio station Wasafi, said he would collaborate with Ali Kiba if asked.
He went on to say that he had previously called Ali Kiba's management to request an invitation to one of his shows.
“Mi nafanya, mi nishapiga simu kwenye management yake nikitaka twende show, nishamwalika kwa show zangu, mi sina shida,” said Diamond.
Diamond stated in the interview that he has always held Ali Kiba in high regard for maintaining his status in the music industry for so many years.
“Ali nina heshima yake ambayo nampea kubwa, tokea alipo toka mpaka leo anapambana kuwepo pale…sio jambo ndogo, ni jambo kubwa sana, hakuna kitu ngumu kama ku-maintain status, kwa hivyo namheshimu sana…” he said.
“Sina tatizo na mtu yeyote… Mi nafanya vizuri najua, mkubwa najua, nimezidi vitu vingi najua, lakini kuna heshima yake nampa,” he added.
He went on to blame Tanzanian fans for the escalation between the two artists, claiming that Tanzanian fans tend to associate celebrity feuds with a celebrity's level of fame and success.
“Ila kuna mawazo ambayo Watanzania tunatakiwa tuyafute, ili wewe uonekane mkubwa lazima ugombane na mtu, mimi sina noma halafu kila mtu namuheshima kwa upande wake,”
Both stars have stated that they have no beef with one another and that they are willing to collaborate.
When asked if he could do a song with Diamond during an online interview with Jalang'o last year, Ali Kiba said, "I hope we can do a video together, it will be big if we do it."
