DJ Joe Mfalme acquires DJ academy, set to mentor upcoming deejays

Kenyan deejay Joe Mfalme has announced the acquisition of a DJ Academy aimed at teaching and mentoring upcoming deejays.

Taking to Instagram on Monday 24, the celebrated deejay revealed he will take the role of mentoring and developing a new curriculum for the academy.

Mfalme signed the contract as a director alongside fellow DJ Michael 'W-dj' Waithaka.

“@wdjay and I have acquired @redberrydjacademy and will be taking on an active role in mentoring and development and implementation of a new curriculum,” wrote Mfalme.

According to a press release issued by the Red Berry Academy on Monday, the move is expected to set a new standard in the entertainment industry.

“By bringing in the two new directors, Red Berry Deejay Academy is poised to set a new industry-standard never seen before,” stated Red Berry Academy.

W-dj will handle the corporate side of the business while Joe Mfalme will take a hands-on role, according to the Academy.

“WDJ is set to handle the corporate side of the business while Dj Joe Mfalme will be taking on an active role in mentoring students and development and implementation of the new curriculum,”

Joe Mfalme has dominated the entertainment industry for several years and credits his achievements to hard work.

“I tell people that they should be on people’s faces all the time. Like for me I have three TV shows and four radio shows. I do gigs, I do mixes online and for matatus. Being everywhere really pays off. All this effort translates to good returns on investments,” said Mfalme during an interview with Standard, March, 2021.
