Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are engaged, again

Global R'n'B superstar Jennifer Lopez, popularly known as J-Lo, and her actor boyfriend Ben Affleck have gotten engaged 20 years after the ‘Gone Girl’ movie star first asked for her hand in marriage.

Ben (49) and J-Lo (52) first started dating in early 2002 after hitting it off on the set of romance film ‘Gigli’.

They got engaged in November 2002 and were set to get married in September 2003, only for them to call off the wedding.

The couple would part ways in January 2004 and later rekindle their relationship in May 2021.

J-Lo made the announcement on Friday, via a video on her official website, On The JLo.

In the video, J-Lo can be seen wiping away tears of joy as she flaunts her engagement ring, which has a huge green emerald stone and diamond sparkler.

In late March, rumours circulated that the pair were taking their relationship to the next level after they enquired about a USD 50 million (approximately Ksh. 5.7 billion) mansion in Los Angeles’ posh Bel Air estate.

The 20,000 square foot property is conveniently hidden inside a forest of trees and it boasts of having an amazing view of the city of Angels.

The mansion has 10 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, a gym, state of the art kitchens and an incredible edge pool, among other spectacular features.

J-Lo has recently been seen furniture shopping in anticipation of finally moving in together with Affleck.
