Jamaican Reggae Sensation Luciano lands in Kenya

Jamaican regggae sensation and multi-award winning musician 'Luciano', real name Jepther Washington McClymont has arrived in Kenya, ahead of his much-anticipated Unite the Youth Concert.
Luciano will perform at Water Front - Ngong Racecourse on June 11, with his concert being part of his 10-day musical safari in Kenya organized by Musical Safaris Group Inc.
The company based in US and Kenya specializes in media, travel and entertainment.
The event will be a prelude to the August 9 General Election, at least according to the organisers, seeking to deter the Kenyan youth from engaging in politically-fuelled violence.
The singer, lauded by fans as the king of “conscious” reggae music for over 2 decades, will also hold a workshop with young musicians in the country.
This will be Luciano's second time in Kenya, having visited the country last in 2017.
