A man who has been trending on social media with the line 'jina hutaki' is now begging for help to leave the streets, where he has been calling home after things hit a brick wall.

Leonard Omusula has been trending after an old clip of him emerged online, where he was giving an interview to a K24 TV  reporter many years ago.

In the interview, Omusula defended his strong addiction to alcohol, breaking down how he would spend the KSh100 he had in his pocket then.

After the interview, the reporter forgot to take his name, prompting Omusula to ask, "Jina hutaki?" It was here that the reporter asked and he responded, "Leonard Omusula, kutoka Butere Mumias."

The clip seems to have captivated a section of Kenyans years later, prompting others to inquire onabout his whereabouts.

And now it has emerged Omusula is homeless, spending in the streets without food and proper clothing.

In a recent interview, Omusula says he lost everything after he was laid off by a company he worked for as a technician.

"I'm a technician the way you see me like this. Someone help me to get a job, because sleeping in the streets, and living in the streets, that is not part of my life," Omusula said.

Seemingly feeble and struggling with poor health, Omusula said if he gets something to do as a technician, he will be able to uplift himself once again.
