Joyce Omondi returns to Citizen TV's Gospel Sunday

TV presenter and music minister Joyce Omondi is set to make a return to Citizen
TV’s Gospel Sunday programs following her exit years ago.
Joyce,
according to a promo released by Citizen TV, will resume hosting the ‘Rauka’
show this Sunday, February 6, 2022.
The Gospel musician left the show 8 years ago and later joined Switch TV, from where she also announced her exit in December 2020.
Besides being an award-winning Gospel singer, Joyce
Omondi is also the founder of EPIC Women and a seasoned event host.
Her debut single from her first album, Conquerer,
won the Groove Awards ‘Video of the Year’ in 2013.
Her second album, Spirit Vs Soul (2017), won ‘Album
of the Year’ at Maranatha Awards, before she held the first edition of her live
praise and worship experience dubbed ‘ReJoyce’ in 2019.
According to her website, Joyce double majored in
Economics and Integrated International Studies for her undergraduate studies at
Knox College in Illinois.
“In May 2015, she graduated with honors and a Master
of Science in International Development from the prestigious Georgetown
University in Washington DC,” read the website.
Joyce’s
return comes after the show host Kambua on January 16, 2022 announced her exit
after a 12-year-stint.
The celebrated musician, who has two albums under her belt, bidding
goodbye to thousands of loyal viewers and her co-host duo of DJ Gee Gee and
Timeless Noel.
"We
move from seasons to seasons and today, I would like to take a bow and I want
to hung my boots, to all of you who have allowed me to come into your home for
the last 12 years. Thank you for allowing me to come into your homes, and to
minister, it has been a beautiful journey," Kambua announced during
her final show.
