Controversial American rap legend Kanye West has returned to Instagram with a curious statement on his current feelings towards Jews.

West, who has been banned from Instagram on and off again over his controversial views on Jewish people, Saturday morning made a post claiming that watching actor Jonah Hill in the 2012 movie 21 Jump Street made him "like Jewish people again."

Accompanying the post with the movie's promotional poster, West  wrote, “Watching Jonah Hill in 21 Jump Street made me like Jewish people again.

“No one should take anger against one or two individuals and transform that into hatred towards millions of innocent people.”

He continued: “No Christian can be labelled antisemite knowing Jesus is a Jew. Thank you Jonah Hill. I love you.”

A serial social media law breaker, West returned to Twitter in November, around the same time that his buddy Elon Musk acquired the platform.

In a tweet, however, Musk claimed that the rapper’s account was “restored by Twitter before the acquisition.”

Just a month later, West would later be temporarily suspended from the platform, yet again, for “incitement to violence.”

On December 1 last year, Kanye West joined American conspiracy theorist Alex Jones on his InfoWars talk show where he shockingly admitted that he liked the notorious German butcher Adolf Hitler.

“I see good things about Hitler,” West, who also goes by Ye, told Jones during the bizarre appearance. “Every human being has value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler.”

Ye was banned from Instagram a week after making the comments. He was, however, allowed back on the platform not too long after.
