Politician Karen Nyamu has mourned the passing of the ‘men’s conference chairman’, Mzee Kibor, who succumbed to a long illness on March 16, 2022.

Nyamu described the late Eldoret businessman-turned-politician as "a man we all loved for his humor and interesting personal life."

“Men’s conference chairman, Mr. Jackson Kibor is no more. I have received the news of his passing on with great sadness. He is a man we all loved for his humor and interesting personal life. Go well General wa boy child. Rest In Peace,” Wrote Nyamu.

The Nairobi Senatorial candidate then asked her supporters to select a representative to take over the men's conference chairmanship.

She made a lighthearted reference to her baby daddy, Mugiithi singer Samidoh as a possible contender.

“Sasa mnaona hio nafasi mzae amewacha vacant tupatie nani? Sijatata samidoh, "said Karen Nyamu.

The Mugiithi singer has two children out of wedlock with Karen Nyamu. He also has two other children with his wife, Edith Nderitu.

Fans of the Nairobi senator aspirant took to her comment section to react to her statement:

Purity Shiro replied: “And Samidoh was just chilling, then boom. Rest in peace chairman.”

Facebook user, Dennis Kinyua said, “That men's affair so please relax. We shall be announcing next leader but for now let mourn our chairman in peace.”

“Parting shot is funny...ok you have given us idea...tumpatie tu huyo Samido...May Kibor's soul rest well and in peace...” said Njoki Mukui.

Another Facebook user, Fidelis Mwendwa Kanini commented, "Samidoh his role is very vital in this country #Kenya Seed Company CEO."
