Kenyan artist Ajo drops Afropop Party Album 'Mabangers' this Friday

Inspired by Kenya's vibrant party and club scene, Ajo crafted the album specifically for its upbeat, energetic tempo. "The inspiration... came from our popping Kenyan sounds that stimulates partying and clubbing," Ajo stated.

Key to achieving the album's sound was the collaboration with producer Pro Spyke. 

Ajo highlighted, "The fact that Pro Spyke is inspired by dancehall culture and understands it well made it... effective for me creating MABANGER because that was my vision."

True to its inspiration, the album's core theme is partying and clubbing. Ajo creates a unique Afro-dancehall vibe by skillfully fusing Swahili, Luyha, and English lyrics with pulsating dancehall beats.

With "Mabangers", Ajo aims to reach a broader audience who will appreciate his distinct Kenyan sound and support his evolving musical journey.
