King Kaka reveals that his friends were in the dark about his illness

King Kaka, who was sick for three months after being misdiagnosed, disclosed on ‘By Nana Owiti’ a show that airs on youtube, that he would even hide his inflamed lips under the mask when meeting with his friends.

“My boys hawakuwa wanajua, nothing. I think walijua only three weeks before niende hosi. If you go back to all my posts, I was concealing, every time I put on a jacket, a hoodie and a mask. ” King Kaka added.

The rapper said that he is the person who people go to for help and not the other way round and he was not willing to let that go.

“It goes back to personality, mi nakuwanga msee mwenye hutaka kusolve kwanza. I want to solve the problem first, sitakangi kuburden watu. I’m the person people come to; I don’t go to people.”

Kaka goes on to say: “So this one time I was tested and everything I had, na ilikuwa ni either mimi niende kwa wasee, which I was not willing to let that personality go.

"It’s just me being me. Kwasababu, mi ndio husaidia wasee, msee akiwa kwa noma mi ndio natoka home, niende kuwasaidia.”

King Kaka also talked about how he felt unproductive and helpless during the time of his illness and all he could think about what his wife and kids and what would happen if bad went to worse.

“The scariest bit was you (Nana Owiti) and the kids, the people in my circle, people I love and people who love me.
