MC Jessy, Njambi Koikai accept defeat in MP races

Media Personalities Jasper Muthomi alias MC Jessy and Mary Njambi Koikai alias Fyah Mummah have conceded defeat in the South Imenti and Dagoretti South parliamentary seat respectively. 

The Dagoretti native, who was running for the seat as an independent candidate, took to social media on Wednesday evening, thanking her supporters for their dedicated support.

Njambi further congratulated the winner in the contest (who is yet to be announced) and wished them the best while in leadership.  

"To the people of Dagoretti South and all my supporters, we have fought the good fight, we finished the race, and we kept the faith," she wrote.

"I wish to congratulate the winner on their election and I wish them all in advancing the hopes of our constituents in Dagoretti South."

She further vowed, at her capacity, to continue helping residents in the area 

"Although I will not be able to fulfil your hopes, I will continue my commitment to the betterment of the people of Dagoretti South."

On the other hand, MC Jessy congratulated Shadrack Mwiti for the South Imenti win. 

"To the People of South Imenti Constituency, I Sincerely Thank you so much for the time we have interacted during our campaign time.  It has been a great journey. A journey of amazing political adventure. A journey of daring hearts.  We will continue to engage as we look forward to Next time. God willing," he wrote. 

He further urged his supporters to keep strong, saying it is just politics.
