'Might give it all away,' Davido says of Ksh.38M he received from friends, fans as birthday gift

Nigerian Afrobeat star Davido has hinted at
returning the over Ksh.38 million that he collected in about three hours from
his friends and fans.
Davido raised the money after posting an appealing
to his friends, some of them fellow celebrities, and fans ahead of his birthday
on November 21, 2021.
The 'Jowo' hit maker had opened a new bank
account and publicized it online while regularly updating his fans via his
Instagram stories on the progress of money transactions as they steadily
increased.
He received some from the likes of superstars
Adekunle Gold, Nengi, Mr. Eazi, Perruzi, Teni, Zlatan, Chike and Cubana Chief
Priest.
The singer on Friday then took to Twitter saying,
“Might give it all away.”
Fans responded to him with hilarious tweets
while some of them even providing their account details and others showing fake
transactions from their accounts to his.
