Carol Sonnie denies reuniting with Mulamwah amid viral photos

The two separated on grounds of infidelity, with the comedian alleging that their child was not his. He would thereafter post a series of exposes in which he alleged that the mother of one had run off with another man at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

On Tuesday, hours after several photos went viral on the Kenyan interweb, Sonnie would issue a clarification, saying her ex-lover had gate-crashed her photoshoot, insisting on taking photos with her. 

"Yesterday I was having a photo shoot with Kapedo, few minutes ino the shoot Mulamwa showed up, I wasn't aware he is coming and he wasn't invited. I asked him what he was doing and he said he is there to apologize, I insisted he should do that online but he said he wanted to talk first," she wrote. 

"To avoid embarrassment and unnecessary ulceration I listened to him, I took a few photos/videos that nothing has been solved between me and Mulamwa."

She further gave a smattering of conditions that Mulamwa needs to meet in order for them to be cordial again. 

"My irreducible minimum still stands..." she said.

"Apologize to your daughter. Apologize to my family, apologize to your fans for misleading and for once speak the truth, nothing has been solved between me and Mulamwah." 

Mulamwah had earlier, during a Q&A session with his fans on Instagram, claimed she had been cheating on him for over a year.

"She cheated on me with a guy who lives in Gitaru, around Kikuyu area. I found out that they had been seeing each other for over a year. In fact, during the lockdown, when I burned my shirt due to stress, she was living at his house. That's when we first broke up," he said. 

He similarly underscored that the pair mutually agreed to end the relationship but they will work together in a co-parent capacity to raise their child.
