‘Our forever begins today…’ lovebirds Nyashinski, Zia Bett say ‘I do’ in private ceremony

Nyash, real name Nyamari Ongegu said ’I do’ to the love of his life Zia Bett in a private ceremony today - Friday, December 10 - presided over by Reverend Nick Korir of Nairobi Chapel.

The bride and groom exchanged vows before a small group of family and friends in an intimate ceremony in Nairobi.

Some of the notable celebrities in attendance were Nyashinski’s former Kleptomaniax bandmate Collo, DJ Stylez, Big Pin, Wahu.

Nyashinski’s best man was his former manager turned movie producer Fakii Liwali and the lineup also included fellow musician Nameless.

The Master of Ceremony was Robert Burale.

The bride walked down the aisle to her husband’s biggest hit and wedding favourite Malaika.

In late 2019, the newlyweds held a colourful traditional ceremony in Nandi County that was graced by family, close friends, including notable household names.

The long-term lovers keep their lives away from the limelight and are known to maintain their relationship under wraps. 

The couple has one child together.
