Rapdamu clears the air on beef with Kenrazy

Popular rapper Rapdamu has denied the existence of a beef between him and Kenrazy saying the beefs are fabrications of haters and that he and Kenrazy are fans of each other.

Kenrazy had reportedly accused Rapdamu of being a terrible manager and luring famous artistes into his lair by promising them a flourishing music career, then using them as producers.

The two have reportedly been at loggerheads since the accusations surfaced.

Speaking to Citizen Digital, Rapdamu downplayed reports of the rumoured feud.

Meanwhile, Rapdamu and Timmy are set to perform in the Extravaganza concert on October 3rd.

The concert has been hyped as being a platform to showcase Kenyan music and to grow the music industry, not just a reggae concert.

The two will be performing on the same stage as the royal family of reggae, Morgan Heritage.

Rap Damu has previously released songs such as Holla HollaHuman and Hustlin’ Anthem with Big Pin among others.

Timmy has recently released the song ‘Usiogope’ with DNA.

In an interview with Citizen Digital on Tuesday, the duo said that they were excited for this concert and will be using this to showcase their talent.

Rapdamu and Timmy have been working for seven years and say that the inspiration behind the song wele wele is as a result of those years.

They will be performing their popular remix Wele Wele which has been nominated for Bingwa collabo of the year award.

Timmy has also been nominated as the Bingwa new artist of the year.

Timmy stated that one of his plans is to perform his latest single during the concert to entertain his fans and also as a platform to shoot his new video.

On future plans, Rapdamu intimated that he plans on moving out of his house and taking his child to school.

The duo further stated that they plan on working on their music and pushing valuable content through their music.

They told Citizen Digital that they have experienced a lot from a very early age and are glad to finally be able to focus on their music.

The duo use music as a way to carry off their predicaments and as an outlet to their fans.

“Music should take you to a good place,” Rapdamu said.

They have told their fans to make a huge turnout at the concert; they only promise a lot of good things.

They also ask of their fans to vote for them in the various categories at Bingwa Awards which is an award ceremony created to recognize all genres of musical talent in East Africa and promote local talent.
