Revealed: Brenda Wairimu's new man is a Nigerian movie director

Finally, it has been revealed that the alluring screen goddess, who leads a notoriously private life, is dating one of Nollywood's most renowned directors and actors.

Citizen Digital has confirmed that Brenda Wairimu has been seeing a Nollywood heartthrob only known as 'AJ' for the last several months.

AJ, popular across the Nollywood streets as a refined actor and an excellent movie director, has made a name for himself across Africa as a filmmaking guru who has worked with some of the biggest and brightest movie stars in Nigeria and across Africa.

Initially, a surreptitious Brenda teased an intimate photo on Instagram stories which clearly depicted the pair in the throes of passion as Brenda lovingly lay her hand on his buff chest and she longingly looked into his eyes.

In the photo which she later hurriedly deleted, AJ's face was all but cropped out - except the obvious giveaway; his full beard.

Quickly, internet sleuths went to town in a bid to unmask the mysterious man whose heavily-tattooed hand did little to conceal his identity for long.

AJ, or Duke of Bariga, as he is popularly known on Instagram, is also widely known as a Nigerian 'Prince' who has had a proclivity for dating some of Africa's finest female stars. 

Citizen Digital has also obtained a secret video of the loved-up duo when they hit a popular movie theatre at Nairobi's Diamond Plaza Mall in Parklands.

A close source has revealed that AJ and Brenda had booked up the entire cinema hall to go watch a popular Julia Roberts classic movie.

"The man did the booking and then they arrived together. At first, they were a team of around five people but the others left and the entire movie theatre was exclusively spared for Brenda and the Nigerian man. They left after almost two hours and came back a weekend later and booked it up the same way again, " the source said.

The source also provided secretly-shot photos which appeared to show the lovey-dovey pair in half an embrace as they bought popcorn. 

After calling Brenda, the film star hesitated to talk at first, only asking us to ask her about work first.

AJ, who took hours to get back to us, only said 'YES' when we asked him about the romance rumours.

"So, you're dating?" we pressed.

"Well, yes. I however would prefer not to discuss my love life" he said.
