Sarah Hassan, Njoro wa Uba win big at 2021 Kalasha awards

Kenyan actress Sarah Hassan was the biggest winner at the 2021 Kalasha awards held at
a Nairobi hotel on Saturday.
The actress, who also recently took on the role of director and producer, won the coveted Best Actress award in two categories and her film ‘Just in Time’ scooped the Best Feature Film.
Hassan won Best Lead Actress for her
film ‘Just in Time’ and Best Lead Actress in a TV Drama for ‘Crime and Justice.’
The award for Best Lead Actor in
a film went to Mawuli Gavor, for Sarah Hassan’s film ‘Just in Time.’
Other entertainers who won big in the coveted event were Joe Kinyua in
Njoro wa Uba for Best Lead Actor in a TV drama, while
the series also scooped the Best TV Drama award.
Catherine Kamau won in the
category for Best Supporting Actress for the film ‘Kutu’ and Best Supporting Actor John Ndegwa for ‘Kutu’ as well.
