Singer Avril harshly hits back at Jaguar

Popular songstress Avril has indirectly slammed Jaguar for claiming she owes him the musical success she’s currently enjoying.

The two talented acts have time and again locked horns upon any opportunity on media interviews.

In a recent Pilipili FM interview their differences were escalated when Jaguar lashed at Avril for advising her ‘experienced elders’.

“I’m not saying it is a must Avril should respect me. However, it’s I who first featured her in my song dubbed Tayari. Recently I heard her griping we’re shooting our song videos outside Kenya yet there are good sceneries in the country we can use to do that.”

“It seems she’s advising us, saying we are not doing the right things. It’s I who taught her the ropes,” Jaguar said.

The singer’s grumble did not stop there; he added: “I appreciate it when somebody whom I helped stand on her feet accords me the respect I deserve; an artiste like Vivian calls me each time she releases a new hit.”

“However, there are musicians you help and before they even release another recording, they are abusing you,” Jaguar told.

“The same way she is married to a South African and doing videos with people like Ommy Dimpoz is the same way we are going out there to do our videos. I have more than 15 videos and I need a different scene for my videos it is not like I have abandoned the local industry.”

Avril did not take Jaguar’s remarks lying down as she recently took to her Instagram account to indirectly hit back at the Kioo star.

In a photo printed: “Baby try not to be the same old song”, Avril ostensibly accuses Jaguar of picking fights with his peers quite often.

“Always fighting with people and causing beef with your peers will take you nowhere#ToWhomEverItMayConcern #SameOldScript,” she posted.
