Singer Avril Nyambura loses father

Kenyan singer Avril Nyambura has lost her dad.

Avril’s dad reportedly succumbed to heart attack at his Nairobi home on Tuesday evening.

A few weeks ago, the Nikumuona singer’s dad was admitted at the Intensive Care Unit at a Nairobi hospital. His condition improved and was thus discharged.

Avril Nyambura took to her Instagram account to break the sad news. She wrote: “Faith in God includes faith in His timing. Rest now!”

Singer Amileena Mwenesi, among other Kenyans, took to social media to condole with the celebrated artiste.

Amileeena said: “Deepest condolences to you (Avril) and your family; may God’s mercy envelope you all and give you the strength to get through this period.”

Funeral details are yet to be communicated.
