Tanzanian rapper Bill Nas proposes to girlfriend Nandy for the second time

Tanzanian rapper Bill Nas has proposed to his long-time girlfriend and Tanzanian musician, Nandy.

The rapper asked for Nandy’s hand in marriage during an official introduction ceremony held in Tanzania on Sunday.

The happy couple were donned in matching black and gold outfits. Nandy accessorized her beautiful dress with a matching headgear and silver earrings to go with the look.

In a video that has since been making rounds on social media, Bill Nas is seen going down on both his knees as he picked Nandy’s left hand and put a ring on it. The ring is reportedly worth Ksh. 393,000.

This is the second time that Nas has proposed to the ‘Ninogeshe’ hitmaker. Sometime in 2020, Nas surprised Nandy who was performing on Tanzania’s TVE live show. He walked on stage and knelt on his knee to propose, before saying a few words.

“We’ve been together kwa kipindi kirefu sana tumepitia vitu vingi vizuri na vibaya. Najua upande wako mbaya, najua upande wako mzuri but nimechagua pande zote mbili nakupenda sana na ninatamani dunia nzima ijue... so leo itakuwa siku nzuri sana kupropose. I love you,” said Bill Nas.

Nandy had in July 2021, a year and some months after their first engagement, announced that the two were no longer together.

“Mlitegemea Kuniona mimi na Nenga (Billnass) Tukiendelea, mambo yamebadilika na simuoni tena ila Namuombea” said Nandy to her followers.

The two are reportedly set to officially wed sometime in July 2022.
