Joe Mucheru opens up on his tenure as a Cabinet Secretary and life after losing the ministerial flag

He was one of the influential members of retired President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Cabinet. For seven years, he took charge of the Broadcasting and ICT ministry, and in the run up to the august 9th general election, actively participated in the state house succession race. During the transition period from Kenyatta’s administration to President William Ruto, Mucheru and his cabinet colleagues had to contend with three cabinet meetings with a man, whose presidential candidature they vehemently opposed.
