[VIDEO] Boy, 15, running in traditional Maasai sandals - Akala, wows as he finishes top 10 in a famous road race

15-year-old Jeremiah Sinken became a crowd favourite during the Kimana Road Race held in Kajiado.

Sinken ran the 15KM Mwananchi Race with traditional Maasai sandals, Akala, and finished at position 8.

 The Class 8 candidate at Enkii Primary School defied his parents’ instructions to heard the family cattle instead of participating in the race.

 He said he would have won the race if he had proper running gear.
