Avicii girlfriend emerges with video of son

The girlfriend of Swedish DJ Avicii has taken to social media to express her grief after he was found dead in Oman.

Tereza Kačerová posted a video of herself and her son on Instagram saying how Avicii, whose real name is Tim Bergling, loved the boy as his own.

In the video, the Czech model is seen holding what looks like a wooden Maasai carving as the son plays with Avicii.

“It’s a video that shows how purely and innocently my son loved Tim. And Tim loved him back the same way.

”I would find them sitting under a blanket together, in what Luka called a house, for so long that Tim was sweating but wouldn’t stop until Luka decided that the game was over,” she said.

Avicii’s family has since issued a statement on his death but remain vague on the exact cause only stating that he struggled with life and “could not go on any longer.”

The comments appeared to suggest that the electronic dance musician and producer took his own life.

“He really struggled with thoughts about Meaning, Life, Happiness. He could not go on any longer. He wanted to find peace.”

His U.S. publicist, Diana Baron, declined to comment further.
