For some time now, umbrellas have been on a fashion hiatus because of their functionality and most people do not look at an umbrella as a fashion accessory.

The queen treats herself to an elegant selection of umbrellas that she tastefully colour-matches with her outfits to protect her from the rain.

Queen Elizabeth II has been spotted in colourful umbrellas in mellow yellow, arctic blue, royal purple, snow white, burgundy wine and plush pink, among other colours.

Her Majesty the Queen gets her umbrellas from Fulton Umbrellas in London’s East End and she insists on see-through umbrellas to allow the public to see her when she steps out.

There’s no doubt that with this rain, most of us own at least one umbrella that blows inside-out at the slightest indication of a breeze.
