Murimi wa Kahalf, the ‘ino ni momo’ hot maker, has died.
The Kikuyu music star passed away in hospital after an illness, according to sources close to him.
Our sources confirmed that the artiste has been unwell and had been receiving treatment at the Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi for the past two months.
Kahalf shot to fame after the release and wide acclaim of his hit single ‘Ino ni Momo’, which he sung in the Gikuyu language.
The song, which was sung in praise of plus size women, gained popularity with Kenyans of all ethnicities.
