Joho steps out in Ksh.227K jacket, Ksh.70K sneakers, custom Range Rover plates as he holidays in the U.S
Former Mombasa Governor Hassan Ali Joho, a
renowned fashion head, has once again flaunted his expensive taste after being spotted in a hooded jacket estimated to be
worth a staggering Ksh.227,150.
The former county boss, who has disappeared
from the political scene since leaving office after the 2022 polls, was
photographed in the United States wearing the minty Moncler's Dincer hooded
jacket - a puffy, white-and-blue stripped fashion show-stopper.
According to their original website,
"the signature blue and red stripes down the sleeves (are) a tribute to
the brand's French roots" and goes for about $1,750 (Ksh.227,150) in high-end luxury fashion websites.
In new photos that he shared with his 1.3
million Instagram followers, Joho appears warmly-dressed as he poses next to a
sleek Range Rover whose number plate is emblazoned with his initials 'HAJ.'
Completing the sharp look, which also
features a baseball cap, a scarf and brown pants, Joho flaunted his striking
white sneakers which are believed to be Alexander McQueen's court sneakers
worth about $540 (Ksh.70,092), according to their original website.
The flamboyant politician is known for his
taste for the finest things in life and his untamed appetite for high fashion.
In October 2022, Joho was spotted wearing a Ksh.45
million Richard Mille watch, an upgrade to his earlier watch - a Richard Mille
Felipe Massa Flyback Chronograph estimated to be worth around Ksh.23 Million.
In 2017, he stepped out in a pair of Louis Vuitton sneakers, which then cost
around Ksh.92,000 - a mix of monogram canvas technical lining and a rubber
hand-crafted outsole.
Joho's legendary love for opulence and
splendour has seen him hobnob with some of the biggest names in the global
entertainment circles including US rapper Fat Joe who, in September 2022,
partied with him and even shouted him up in his now all-famous lyric.
“Joho, 001, nothing can stop you, you’re all
the way up,” Fat Joe quoted his popular phrase from the hit song 'All The Way
Up' released in 2016.
