15 people killed in accident on Nakuru-Eldoret Highway

Fifteen people died on Tuesday morning after a 14-seater matatu they were travelling in collided with a bus at Twin Bridge area along the Nakuru- Eldoret Highway. 

Confirming the 2.45am incident, Kuresoi North OCPD Judah Gathenge said all passengers in the matatu which was heading to Nairobi lost their lives.

The deceased include eight adults and seven children among them five girls and two boys.

Seven people were seriously injured with 38 being rushed to hospital with minor injuries.
