2 Suspected Robbers Shot Dead In Nairobi

The suspects were shot dead by plainclothes officers from the Special Crimes Prevention Unit.

Police said they trailed the suspected robbers before catching up with them at the CBD

According to police, the two were part of a seven-man gang that had planned to raid a shop near Jamia Mosque Shopping Mall.

Central OCPD Paul Wanjama said that the other five suspects escaped after learning that the road ahead had been blocked by the police

The bodies of the suspects have been taken to city mortuary.
