3 inmates escape from Kibos Prison
Police in Kisumu County have launched a manhunt for three inmates held over capital offences. The three escaped from Kibos prison Friday morning.
According to Kisumu County Commissioner John Elung’at, they have dispatched a team of officers in a bid to apprehend the escapees.
In the meantime, investigations have also been launched to establish how the inmates were able to access tools they used to cut through the prison wires.
Members of the public have been urged to provide any information on the whereabouts of the prisoners.
