3 Tanzanians killed in boda boda collision in Loitoktok

The two riders died in the accident, while one riding pillion died when receiving treatment at a hospital in Loitoktok.

The second riding pillion sustained serious injuries and is receiving treatment.

 Loitokitok Police Commander, Shadrack Ruto, confirmed the Friday night incident, which happened at around 8pm.

"The riders are suspected to have been speeding when the collision happened," he said. 

Ruto said the casualties are likely to be Tanzanians as the motorcycles bore Tanzanian number plates.

The Police Commander called for vigilance on the roads.

The bodies are at Loitoktok Hospital mortuary.
