Police officers have seized 700 rolls of cannabis, among other things, in Rhamu, Mandera County.
In a statement by the National Police Service (NPS) on Monday, officers based in Mandera North Sub-County, while investigating a crime scene in the Shatoley area, came across the contraband and immediately seized it.
Other items included three kilograms of unprocessed cannabis, an unregistered motorcycle, among other items.
The items have been secured as evidence while officers launch a manhunt for the suspect who is still at large.
The NPS has appealed to the public to continue reporting any suspicious activities to their nearest police station to help curb sale and consumption of illegal substances.
