Abduba Dida joins race for country’s presidency

Former presidential candidate Abduba Dida has announced his bid for the country’s top job on the August 8 General Election.
Dida, who finished a distant fifth in the 2013 contest, is set to officially unveil his candidature on Monday, February 27 at a Nairobi hotel.
This time round he is vying on a Tunza Coalition ticket that brings together his Alliance for Real Change Party and Roots Party of Kenya (RPK).
Diba has picked his coalition party partner leader, Prof George Wajackoyah, as his running mate.
