In a historic individual achievement, Alfred Mathu of Absa Life Assurance was crowned Life Insurance Agent of the Year 2024 with an unprecedented 776,000 points— a staggering lead over the first runner-up, who had 92,000 points.
Established in 2015, Absa Life has leveraged its strong banking and intermediaries' network to enhance accessibility, streamline distribution, and deliver seamless financial solutions through its fully integrated bancassurance model.
Reflecting on this achievement, Absa Life Managing Director Mr. Githanji Waiguru emphasized that the next decade for Absa Life will focus on greater impact, resilience, and redefining life insurance in Kenya.
