AMG Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of AMG Realtors, has launched a new community library in Mukuru Kwa Njenga, a bold step in its mission to transform underserved communities through education.

Now spanning five locations, Murang’a (Kangunduini and Githumu), Nanyuki, Kibera, and Mukuru, these libraries exist to give children, especially in underserved communities, access to knowledge, opportunity, and a fair chance at a brighter future.

In 2025 alone, AMG Foundation’s education initiatives recorded over 50,000 attendances, an 82% increase from 2024.

This growth reflects both the rising demand for safe learning spaces and the trust communities have placed in AMG Foundation’s work.

The impact has been life-changing. Children who study in AMG Foundation libraries have shown significant improvement in their academic performance, with many going on to pass their national examinations.

More importantly, these children begin to see possibilities, they gain confidence, direction, and the belief that their future can be brighter than their present.

The Mukuru Kwa Njenga library provides a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where learners can access books and computers, study peacefully, and receive mentorship.

For many children, this space becomes a turning point, a place where dreams are nurtured, and purpose is discovered.

The Mukuru Library welcomes 120 students per sitting, creating a safe and inspiring space where young minds can learn and dream together.

With a computer lab equipped with 15 computers and internet access, it is opening a door to the world of knowledge, innovation, and opportunity.

This is more than a facility; it is a commitment to unlocking every child’s limitless potential.

“Education is the greatest equaliser,” AMG Foundation Director Andrew Muthee said.

"This belief continues to guide AMG Foundation’s work. By investing in education and giving back to underserved communities, AMG Foundation is not just building libraries; it is changing lives, restoring hope, and shaping futures, one child and one community at a time."
