Safari Rally driver Maxine Wahome, the suspect in the murder of rally driver Asad Khan, has been released on a 2 million shilling bond.
Maxine was ordered by Justice Lilian Muetende to surrender her passport and not leave the jurisdiction without the court's permission.
Wahome had asked the court to release her on bail saying that she would not interfere with the witnesses listed in the case .
She further told the court that she is living with her parents in Nairobi and that she will adhere to all directions given by the court and attend all court proceedings.
The matter will be mentioned on April 19 of this year.
