Barber collapses and dies after consuming suspected toxic alcohol

Colleagues of the deceased revealed that he had visited a local wines and spirits establishment in the downtown area, where he indulged in a significant amount of alcohol. Upon returning to his workplace, he found himself unable to continue his duties due to intoxication.

Later, he retreated to a nearby business premises where he slumped into a drunken stupor, appearing to be asleep. Concern arose when bystanders noticed foam emanating from his mouth, prompting immediate action. Despite efforts to revive him, he was unresponsive.

Good Samaritans rushed the unconscious man to Kericho Referral Hospital, but tragically, he was pronounced dead upon arrival. His body was then transferred to the hospital mortuary.
