Casual labourer wins Ksh.500K in Shabiki.com Kaende jackpot

David Muya, a casual labourer is the first lucky winner of the recently launched Shabiki Kaende jackpot after correctly predicting 12 out of 13 match outcomes.

Muya who is a casual labourer, expressed joy saying he did not expect to win the jackpot.

"Jana nikaweza kupigiwa simu na nikaambiwa mimi ndio mshindi lakini sikuamini," says Muya who hails from Lanet, Nakuru County.

"Lakini mimi nimejionea leo ndio niko hapa mbele zenyu na nimeshika zangu ambazo ni elfu mia tano na nimeshukuru Mungu sana kwa yale yote amenitendea kwa ajili nilikuwa nikiomba Mungu sana aweze kunitendea."

He says the money will help his daughter finish her Form Four education as she could not register for KCSE due to school arrears. The money will also cater for his son who is in Junior Secondary and help him finish his construction project.

"Naweza kusomesha watoto wangu, hata sikujua wataregister mtihani kwa ajili ya deni, nimefurahi sana naona wataendelea kusoma na baada ya kumaliza wanaeza endelea mbele... nilikuwa nikishindwa vile nitaweza kuwasomesha lakini maombi tu Mungu akaweza kunitendea na nimefurahi na nimeshukuru sana kaende jackpot," said Muya.

Participants in the Shabiki Kaende jackpot send the word KJP to 29063. Each SMS costs Ksh.50.
