CSs, Governors Barred From Flying National Flags

Cabinet secretaries will no longer fly the national flag on their official cars after parliament voted to strip them the symbolic privilege. Mps shot down an amendment to the national flag, emblems and names bill by majority leader Aden Duale to include cabinet secretaries among state officers allowed to fly the national flag. The bill that now awaits the presidential assent also limits governors to flying the county flag but only within their respective county boundaries. Jacky Maribe reports.
