Daughter Stabs Mother In Nyeri

Bernadette Njoki attacked her 64-year-old mother, Esther Kanuri several times on the stomach, chest and neck in their living room.

Speaking on Monday morning in Nyeri, the deceased’s husband Michael Kanuri confirmed that the 28-year-old suspect is their daughter.

Njoki was adopted when she was 3 months old.

Kanuri said his daughter has always been stubborn and difficult to handle.

Njoki ran away immediately after the incident.

Nyeri OCPD John Leshimpiro said that they have launched a manhunt for the suspect.
