Defying All Odds

A student in Busia County defied the challenges that come with jigger infestation to perform well and set a new record for his school in last year’s Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams. The family of Peter Okeka who attained 401 marks is however struggling to raise fees to enable him join Mang’u High School where he was admitted. Wilkister Nyabwa now reports.
