Disabled woman allegedly raped, murdered in Machakos

A 37-year-old woman was Thursday morning found brutally murdered in her house at Kalama Location in Machakos County.

Area Assistant Chief Muithi Mutisya said the woman who was living with disability was found lying on her bed half naked with her walking crutches inserted in her private parts.

Police said preliminary investigations indicated that the woman had been raped before being murdered.

The deceased stayed alone in the same compound with her close relatives about 10 metres away.

The body was moved to Machakos Level 5 Hospital mortuary awaiting autopsy.
