DP Ruto gifts new Kisumu archbishop Anyolo with a car

Deputy President William Ruto on Saturday presented a brand new Mitsubishi Pajero as a gift to Most Rev. Philip Anyolo.

DP Ruto presented the gift during the installation ceremony for Rev. Philip Anyolo as the new Catholic archbishop in Kisumu.

Ruto further indicated that the present was on behalf of himself and President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Rev. Anyolo takes over from Bishop Zacchaeus Okoth who has been at the helm for the past 50 years.

Other leaders at the ceremony include CSs Eugene Wamalwa (Devolution) and Raychelle Omamo (Defence); MPs Chris Wamalwa (Kiminini) and Otiende Amolo (Rarieda); Senators Moses Kajwang (Homa Bay) and Moses Wetangula (Bungoma) and Governors Anyang’ Nyong’o (Kisumu) and Wycliffe Wangamati (Bungoma).
