DP Ruto begins three-day Sudan visit

Deputy President William Ruto has begun a three-day official visit to the republic of Sudan following an invitation from the Sudan government.
His visit is aimed at boosting bilateral and economic relations between the two countries in the areas of agriculture and industrialisation.
“Kenya is confident that its relationship with the Republic of Sudan will continue to yield benefits for both parties economically,” Mr. Ruto said.
He added that the deeper economic co-operation that Kenya seeks with Sudan is expected to expand to more sectors for the benefit of citizens of the two countries.
During his visit, the DP is expected to hold talks with Sudan President Omar al-Bashir at the presidential palace in Khartoum.
With him are CSs Mwangi Kiunjuri (Agriculture) and Adan Mohammed (Industrialisation) as well as Malulu Injendi (Malava MP) and Adan Haji Ali, chairman of the Parliamentary Agricultural Committee.
