Audio By Vocalize
This collaboration aims to transform Kenya’s textile and fashion industry by embedding sustainability and circular economy principles into technical and vocational education and training (TVET).
At the core of the partnership is the co-development of a Green Skills Curriculum designed to equip learners with essential competencies in sustainable fashion design, eco-friendly production processes, waste reduction and management, and circular innovation within the textile sector.
Through this initiative, 2,300 young people will be trained and empowered with the knowledge and skills needed to champion sustainable practices and innovation throughout the industry. The program not only enhances the quality and relevance of TVET training but also supports Kenya’s national agenda of promoting green jobs and driving sustainable economic growth.
