Eric Omondi’s Parody ‘Nabeba Mawe’ Better than the Original?

The song, ‘Nabeba Mawe’ borrows its tune from a song by Tanzanian Artistes Diamond Platnumz feat Khadija Kopa’s hit single ‘Nasema Nawe’.

In the song, Omondi talks of how tired he is of his neighbours looking down on him for his slender body, even going ahead to say he is now lifting weights to build muscles.

Diamond’s wife Zari the Boss Lady does not seem to mind the parody, even calling Eric Omondi the funniest guy she has ever met in an Instagram post.

The comedian also promoted Diamond Platinumz and his wife Zari’s all white party in Dar es Salaam recently dressed as Zari, a video Zari posted on Instagram.

By the time this article was being published, the video had garnered 80,640 views on YouTube.
