Ex-KNTC director, Supply Chain manager charged with contravening procurement laws
Former KNTC Managing Director Pamela Nduku Mutua and Supply Chain officer Amos Juma Sikuku appear in court on Tuesday.

Former Managing Director of the Kenya
National Trading Corporation (KNTC) Pamela Nduku Mutua was on Tuesday arraigned
in court and charged with failing to comply with laws relating procurement.
It is alleged that Nduku, as an accounting officer, willfully
failed to comply with procurement laws in disposal of public assets
by failing to report to Public Procurement Regulatory
Authority after the issuance of notification of award to
Purma Holdings Limited.
She was charged alongside Amos Juma Sikuku, a Supply Chain and
Logistics Manager at the KNTC, who pleaded not guilty to abuse office charges.
The prosecution claims that the offences
were committed between November and December 2022.
Sikuku was also directed to deposit a Ksh. 500,000
cash bail to secure his release.
They were also directed to deposit their passports with
prosecution.

mentioned August 12, for pre-trial directions
