First Lady Rachel
Ruto on Wednesday hosted popular Tanzanian music group Zabron Singers at State House Nairobi.
Taking to social
media, Rachel Ruto shared
photos of light moments with the choir together at the presidential residence,
together with the head of state William Ruto.
“It was a pleasure
hosting the Zabron Choir earlier today when they paid a courtesy call at State
House. They are well known for their popular song Mkono Wa Bwana and
Usiniache,” Rachael wrote on Twitter.
"He put a new
song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the LORD
and put their trust in him "Psalm 40:3”."
Being her first day
at the House on the Hill, Zabron music group was the second guest to be hosted
by Madam Rachael after she was visited by Ghananian Vice President Mahamudu
Bawumia earlier on Wednesday.
Zabron Singers rose to fame with their hit song ‘Mkono Wa
Bwana’ which took the internet by storm in November 2020 and has so far
garnered over 45 million views on YouTube.
The choir was also one of the guest performers on Tuesday during President Ruto’s swearing-in ceremony at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.
